Personal Branding Lesson From Barbara Corcoran of Shark Tank

Do you watch other experts to see how they are promoting themselves?

If so, that is a smart move.  There are plenty of lessons to learn in watching others.

One person I watch is Barbara Corcoran from Shark Tank.  I’ve never met her or personally talked with her, but I know a few things about her.  For example, she used a $1000 loan to start The Corcoran Group which she eventually sold for $70 million.  How do I know this?  Because it’s her story and she repeats is whenever she can.  It’s on her Facebook page, her web site and her introduction on Shark Tank just to name a few.

Is there a branding lesson there?  Yep:  Be memorable by telling your story. Make it short and sweet.  Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

Then repeat some more.
